ABOUT JOHN THEODORE-EDEN

People around the globe know John Theodore-Eden as either a journalist, TV Host, Keynote speaker, Banker or most importantly as a servant of God.

His works on Television helped him reach millions of people with the gospel in areas of the world that may not otherwise hear about the Gospel, several years before involving in full time ministry.

Yet there is much more to the story of this servant of God, and his ministry, who has impacted the world in unique ways for more than two decades with the life-saving and miracle-working message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Beginnings

John Theodore-Eden was born on November 9, 1988. His childhood home was often referred to as the Garden of Eden by family and friends because you could literally find almost every fruit and vegetable.

Also, people often heard the sound of an orchestra singing and playing beautiful, harmonious heavenly sounds coming from the property as they walked by even when no one was home. This was believed to be angels. He spent his formative years in a few African countries before relocating to Europe and the United States. As a result, he was able to learn multiple languages and cultures.

John Theodore-Eden was born into a Christian home. The call of God on his life can be traced back to when he was in his mother’s womb. This was confirmed by experiences his mother had during her pregnancy and by powerful ministers of God laying hands on the pregnancy, praying and prophesying over it. This made his mother who attended church sporadically to become active in church and develop a deeper relationship with God. As a toddler, his favorite play activity was picking up the family Bible, almost as big as him, and preaching the gospel to his siblings, parents, and family visitors.

He was the mysterious child of the family. His normal words as a toddler were actually prophecies. He would talk about family situations that took place several years before he was born and even mention names of relatives that died several years before he was born.

His life is chronicled with supernatural encounters. He fell into a trance in his early teens where he saw himself ministering to a crowd of different colors and races. An invisible being in the form of a human, seen only by him, was standing next to him whispering these words into his ears, “If your dreams can accommodate you, God is the reality.” He found himself repeating the same words to the crowd as the invisible being whispered it in his ears. It’s a call to lead people to surrender to God!

At a tender age, he was traveling a long distance alone to visit his dear aunt when he lost his way in one of the busiest cities in the world. He was rescued by an angel and teleported to his destination, arriving in less than two minutes by foot on a journey that takes 25 minutes in a car.

In another encounter, he had a powerful dream of an angel giving him a very strange and sophisticated weapon (gun) saying, “My master sent me to give it to you, keep it very safe and do not let anyone take it from you.” This particular dream has been repeated in different versions. These momentous moments were a major turnaround in his life at a young age.

At about the age of 9 or so, John Theodore-Eden first stood behind a pulpit with the help of a stool because of his height to preach the Gospel to the adult church of the Anglican Church his family attended at that time. The anointing came on heavily as he ministered. His message was the talk of the church leadership and members for a very long period of time with remarks of how great of a preacher he was and will become.

He saw the first miracle in his ministry as a young lad when his dad suddenly slumped and died. Everyone was panicking and crying but a strange boldness and authority came on him. He heard a voice telling him exactly what to do. With just a short prayer and application of anointing oil his dad was back to life. He lived for almost another 9 years before finally dying of natural causes.

In April 2017, John Theodore-Eden received a new kind of anointing after a time of seeking the Lord through prayer and fasting. It was the anointing to minister deliverance, and a new level of his prophetic calling. It was indeed a great awakening for him. This was the onset of his call into full time ministry.

Market Place Career and Ministry

John Theodore-Eden is a Certified Leadership & Team Development Coach (IBMI), Certified Life Coach (NSA), Consumer and Institutional Banking Expert, seasoned broadcaster, resourceful keynote speaker, passionate life coach, and an anointed Servant of God.

After studying International Relations at Cyprus International University, he began visiting TV channels to discuss starting his own show. In November 2012, he was hired by Channel T as a presenter and co-producer of "Theodore’s TV Show". On the program, Theodore-Eden conducted interviews and short conversations with people on the streets about culture, history, personal life and other topics. The program aired until December 2013. In the same year, he made his acting debut in Saka Geliyor Gemez, a Cypriot comedy series.

In January 2014, John Theodore-Eden began to produce and host another program, "Cyprus in the Spotlight", as requested by his fans, which focused on the culture, people and places of Cyprus and was telecasted in three languages: English, Greek and Turkish. The program stopped airing in July, when he left Cyprus for the United States of America to further his study in International Relations and communication studies.

John Theodore-Eden has several licenses and certifications such as “Education in Conflict, Conflict in Education by The Council of Europe; How to Deal with Stereotypes when Dealing with Sensitive Issues of Life by The Home of Cooperation; Peace Journalism by The Cyprus Community Media Center and Center for Global Peace Journalism; Life skills courtesy UNICEF and Swedish International Development Cooperation; Leadership and Team Development, International Law and Investment Fundamentals by The International Business Management Institute; Life Coaching, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychology, Body Language, Digital Marketing, Sales and Advertising by The New Skills Academy and many more.

He is a member of the United Nations Association, Alliance Francaise and more. He volunteered for UNICEF as a Peer Educator/ Life Skills Facilitator.

John Theodore-Eden has worked for JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America and US Bank, 3 of America’s largest Banks in different capacities within the Consumer Banking Department. He worked with United Missouri Bank in the Institutional Banking Department until recently.

He is the Chairman, CEO/Founder of Jotheode, Inc. He is actively engaged in keynote speaking engagements. He also serves clients as a Financial Coach and Business Strategist/Consultant.

It is interesting to know that as a banker and bank officer, John Theodore-Eden would preach, teach and minister deliverance and healing to his clients right in the bank premises which led to a high influx of clients wanting to see him.

He also used his time on Television to broadcast gospel messages to his millions of viewers across Europe and the Middle East.

After several encounters with God through dreams, visions and revelations, he resigned his lucrative banking career and answered the call to focus solely on full time Ministry on August 1st, 2022.

Servant of God

John Theodore-Eden has been given the divine mandate to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ by loving people and demonstrating the power of the Holy Spirit through healing, deliverance, and signs and wonders.

He is increasingly mindful of his calling, which is to encourage people to yield and surrender to God and usher them into God’s Holy presence where all our needs are met. It’s all about the Kingdom Assignment.

His hunger to see souls set free and live in the presence of God is his greatest motivation. He has a mantle to equip and empower people to pray and become intimate with God.

John Theodore-Eden’s life is forever affected by the lives of pioneers like Dr. Morris Cerullo, Papa Ayo Oritsejafor, Kathryn Kuhlman, Pastor Benny Hinn, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, and Dr. Daniel Olukoya.

He currently travels across the United States and the world proclaiming and doing the work of his master Jesus Christ. His strongest spiritual gift is the prophetic, healing and deliverance anointing.

By conducting the Great Awakening Services wherever he travels, forging a growing network of church leaders and laypeople through the Prayer and Prophetic Alliance, equipping and empowering believers for a victorious life through the John Theodore-Eden Institute, he continues a growing commitment to develop a generation of anointed, mighty men and women who understand the critical need for God’s wisdom and presence in their lives.

He's currently accepting invitations to speak across the United States and Canada. In this season, his teachings are on The Anointing, The 4 realms of the Prophetic, The Holy Spirit and The Secret Place, with demonstrations of God's healing power, deliverance and the prophetic anointing.

He holds a weekly Prayer & Prophetic Alliance Facebook live broadcast every Saturday at 7:00PM Central Standard Time.
